Sometimes real life is sweeter than fiction…
Seventeen-year-old Anna is not having a good summer. She’s pretty sure she’s flunked her exams and to make matters worse, her boyfriend, Max, has unceremoniously dumped her. So when her aunt invites her to stay at her bookshop by the sea for the summer, she reluctantly takes her up on the offer. At least she can hide out there, maybe get her mess of a life back on track. But she wasn't counting on the infuriating but distractingly hot local surfer who keeps crossing her path, or the celebrity launch she unwittingly agrees to host at the bookshop.
One thing's for sure, this summer is going to be anything but boring.
